Gap year insurance claims rise by 61%
The number of travel insurance claims made by gap year students has increased by more than half compared to last year, according to one insurer.
Sales of backpacker insurance soared by more than 800% in August 2010 compared to August 2009 as students who missed a place at University take a gap year.
